Ethical and Eco-Friendly Silver

We purchase almost all of our silver from Regal Castings Ltd, a New Zealand company, who recycle or refine their silver and gold.  Regal takes scrap precious metal from jewellers, hobbyists and industrial users and refine it back to pure metals.  Once in pure form the silver is then alloyed (copper is added) to make sterling silver.

Regal Castings also buys precious metals from The Perth Mint. The Perth Mint ensures their supply chain due diligence systems are compliant with the ‘responsible’ gold and silver guidelines presented by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA).  This accreditation assures the ethical sourcing of their materials to ensure there is no modern slavery or conflict-zone metal in their supply chain. There are less than 64 refineries in the world that have LBMA accreditation.
